After you run the coolbits registry mod, right click desktop>nvidia disply>your monitor. then there is a tab on the left called "clock frequencies" this is where you will overlclock.

Then use this giude to help you better OC the card.

Sorry to troll, but isn't 72C a bit hot? I have the 7800GS OC version of the BFGTech card. I guess there isn't much more to eh.. OC.

Great card!!

I've got the SC CO version @ 482-501/1600-1640 depending on the game or benchmark.
I prefer ATItool for Oc'ing and I use the Xtreme-G 92.91 tweaked driver..the best for the 7800GS IMO.
Oh yeah temps max at 61-68°c depending on ambient.

I volt modded my EVGA 7800 GS and got it to 673/1600 stable. You have to ground VID4 for the core overclock, thatll put it up at 1.50 GHz. you dont have to do anything else for the core, just put a small wire from VID 4 to ground heres a link http://forum.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=200420 follow the first picture there. As for the memory overclock, i did a pencil mod from vr-zone, but make sure that your core is G71 not G70 before you do either

I run @ 476:1.400 65degre when playing hard,stock at 430:1.300

I run on AGP 4X because my P4P800SE left me and I run my spare 845PSBT (that suck's) I use EVGA aplication, the fan speed is set at 100%, I will try at 480-490 on the core to see if it can take more, I enjoy lifetime warranty!!!
