So change the location for the GPU client in affinityinput.txt and it should work out better.
My alternate method to make it easier:
-when installing SMP, I make a folder in the root for it and run it with the -local flag. This puts everything in this folder.
-when installing GPU, I use the console client. I make a folder in the root and run the installer inside this folder; it puts all its files in the folder it's run in, so it mirrors what was done with SMP.

There, same target easy to find for both affinity and HFM

That's how I used to have my clients set up too; C> Folding> SMP/GPU with the -local flag. But I find a new guide to make every so often, and using default locations seems the best way forward.

There is no GPU client in C:\\Users\\[Username]\\AppData\\Roaming\\Folding@home-gpu, only those 3 files:
amdcalc.dll
amdcalrt.dll
cuadart.dll

It's just to get the maximum out of your set up. You could simply install the GPU client for your 5870, but then your SMP would take a hit. That method would only take 2 minutes though.

This guide is so the GPU doens't take any PPD from the SMP client.

It lowers the CPU usage of the ATi GPUs. It's just gives a bit more PPD, while dropping CPU usage from 50% to ~5%.
