You would hope he has the correct gear, getting a fridgey to come out and do the work for you will cost you a fortune. If you know somebody then it might not be so bad but having a fridgey stand there and charge you an hourly rate to vacum your system would be crazy- not to mention he\\she will probably charge you for the pick up and supply of the refridgerant.

If your having somebody come to your house it will cost you 50 bucks just for the fee to get to your house then whatever else he charges you. You need the manifold and gauges to get the stuff into your system and you can easily do it yourself. It will cost you less just do do it yourself anyway...

And thats the things I have right there: Hellgy: Are there any schrader/access valve's on the unit?, if not then you'll need to get some.

I have two of em.

Yes, there is a sealed copper pipe at the bottom of the compressor...
i guess that it used for refueling the compressor and creating a vacuum...
tho i might be interested if you'll specify exactly what you are willing to give up for 30 USD shipped(shipping to me is 5-10 USD by priority mail...).

Like I said Ill hook you up with everything I have left:
Manifold and Gauges = about 70 shipped for new
2 shrader valves with caps = 10 shipped new
about 8 (guestimate) feet of 1/4 in copper pipe = 20 ft = 30
1 1/4 in T = 1 buck or somethin
Im not at home right now but I think thats all I have. I know I also have a Vacuum pump for sale on ebay. The manifold and gauges are on ebay and I posted a like earlier, if you put a bid on them and tell me ill be sure to include lal the stuff mentioned.

It sounds like the only things your missing are the shrader valves, vaccum pump, manifold and gauges, and then a gas to use which you could use propane and get pretty good temps. I used a 1/3 compressor with propane and the system was ideling at -46. It has my opty on it at stock at -22 idle and -18 full load. If you have a better evaporator head then you will get better temps than I did.
