Help speed up my mushkins...

post #1 of 28
Thread Starter
Hey all. I got these Redline Mushkins which are supposed to be the bees knees. When I first was OC'ing my system i had super-pi clock em at 16.7secs on 1M. Now I can't even get under 19. I got them running at 1066 and tightened up the timings to 5-5-5-15. I was gonna do 5-5-5-12 but my BIOS blanks out the 12 option when I run them on 1066....any help or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

what kind of setting they have the ram?
change the DRAM ratio to x8.00
FSB = 200
and you will get 1600.
7-7-7-18 default timing

It's probable that he's running DDR2, which most likely, will not achieve 1600MHz.

Yea it is ddr2 ram. Its in the screenshot. My FSB is already set to 200 by default. I heard by improving my ratio I can get better timings, but every sticky or post on the issue on OCN has specific computations but don't tell you exactly how to do it.
