But that extra 1000 points dont equate out to better framerates in games, I'm pretty sure they are the same, plus game to game different games are optimized for different cards.

So you might be able to have 1000 extra points but gameplay will be even or less with your card

Gameplay for me is not less in NFS:MS, BF2 or CS:S

I can play pretty much everything on High and Full AA (except Quake 4 with AA cause that thing is a hog at 1280x960)

And

http://www.amdreview.com/reviews.php?rev=vcbench&page=2
http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=3781&page=15

Both say the Framerates are better on the GT where it matters most not the benchmarking, so there's my proof, but as I said some games render better with either company it's just a mtter of which ones you play. The XL is an alright card but the GT has more versatility

I wont argue that at stock speeds the 7800gt is better, but an overclocked x1800xl will beat an overclocked 7800gt any day in most games/benches

I guess I forgot to mention that mine is overclocked

And the link you gave me proved that I was right, look at the attached screen LOL...

PS They didnt even overclock the memory, so I wouldnt even go by those screens

I guess you fogot to look at the other games and the other chart above that one that showed the XL lacked, but I guess that's what people do is go by only 1 chart that their card is better. The XL (and XT) was outperformed by a whole lot against the GT...granted those are older games but nonetheless the GT still outperformed it by a substantial margin.

So the XL did ok in Far Cry but lets see the others

The GT is on top...so I did prove my case but you didn't with your 1 screen as to 5-6 for the GT. So say what you will, 1 game and 1 Bench for for a card doesn't make it superior in gameplay over another in the same tier

And you obvisously didn't read what i said after that, you cant go by those screens.

They barely overclocked the x1800xl

They have it running @ 574/1060 and mine is running @ 600/1400 just a little bit of a difference there LOL

Why do you keep hyping up that card of yours? You're taking a benchmark score and trying to run with it like it's some sort of Cray Supercomputer (through a dead technology I might add; upgrade to PCIe please). Also, you're ATI card doesn't beat a eVGA 7800GT.
