Monitor suddenly stopped working...?

Thread Starter
My computer was running fine and then suddenly my monitor stopped working. the power led is on still but no display, cant press the monitor buttons, turn off or anything. i was able to unplug it and plug it back in and it would work. but now i woke up and nothing i cant get it to work.
I know its not my computer cause i am typing on it right now i just plugged in an other monitor. ive tried switching cables all that and nothing monitor just doesnt display anything no boot up screen or anything...
The power led is on and blue not orange as if it were in sleep mode, if i press it the monitor does nothing like it should, cant turn it off unless i unplug it...

So, any suggestions ? do you think my monitor is dead?

Can you try the monitor on a nother pc??
Or maybe have another DVI or VGA cable to try with it?

i had this problem once. Check the power cables ensure they are fully plugged in and tight and i mean TIGHT. Try bending the power cable left right up or down, c is that makes a diff.

its got nothing to do with the cables, the power is clearly making it to the monitor cause the led is on. also it is being recognized as a monitor still cause i plugged it in as secondary display just nothing comes up on monitor.

Back light problem? I've had two monitors with this problem. Shine a torch or light onto the screen and see if you can see a faint image coming through.
