I still recommend the XXX Edition of the 5770, but whatever saves you money.

For advice, have patience. For a first time builder it might take you a few hours. Read the instructions in the manuals, as they contain (most of the time) picture instructions on how to install the hardware.

Don't do anything to your current computer until you know for a fact your PC works. You might have a DOA or defective part.

The stock heatsink sometimes can be a pain to get on, don't be afraid to apply some pressure to get the clips to slip on, same with the arm that sings down to lock it in.

The ram also requires some pressure to get down, so don't be afraid to push. Just don't use any excessive force.

I would also recommend staying out of the bios unless you need to set your boot options, which you should follow the instructions in the manual.

And the most important: Make sure you're grounded.

One static discharge and you can say goodbye to your motherboard, processor, anything. I usually touch the screw under a light switch, but there's anti-static wrist bands you can buy .

@ marduk666, du you see the price of the unlock Phenom II x6? 315$... it is really to expensive and the lock core... is lock!

@ Kvjavs, I have already play a little bit (I have already assembled and disassembled my computer several time just by curiosity) and for the ground... If the mobo is screw in the case, and, the power supply (suppose to be ground) touch to the case, everything is technically grounded, no?

I meant while you're assembling things. Once the computer is hooked up you should be fine, but once the side is open and you're working inside it, be grounded. Just hook the clip to the metal of the PC case I believe.

Personally I never used a wrist band, I always just touched the light switch and hoped I never got an ESD. I always worked on a tile floor, only rarely carpet.

If i remove the alimentation cable from the PSU, and wait like 10 min, touch the case, it isn't suppose the have any static electricity, no? You are charge with static electricity, not the PC?!?! , i think

And... i'm on a "parquet" (i think it is that word in english) floor. It's made of wood.

So, Am I doing a mistake?

Edit: And we didn't have carpet at home... wait a minute! Yes we have but it is on the stair... i thought i won't play in my computer in the stair XD

Up, no body know? If we Can plug a standard Headphone jack on a 6 channel in-board sound card?

EDIT:

I thought to change the case for a NZXT Tempest EVO, it look like the be beter and it look beter (The Lian Li look great to but the Tempest EVO is a feet over, IMO)

But they have a disadvantage, it 20$ more expensive and a had a Free shipping on the lian li but not on this one (so ~+35$). If you're good in math, you will see it is like 55$ more than the Lian Li.

What is your opinion on my choice?

Yeah you can plug in standard head phones/speakers into the back as long as they are 3.5mm jacks.

For the price, I'd get the Lian Li over the Tempest EVO. Both are great cases but think about your money situation.

Can you do me a favor? Can you go into your wish list, and make it Public, then link it to us? I wanna take a look.

---------------

Something I whipped up real quick again.

Using Newegg.ca so it's in CAD.
