9800 Pro.....Which one?

Thread Starter
Are all the 9800 Pro's the same...I know that some are 128 and 256 but as far as vendors go? Which vendor would be best and so on...........? Also my budget is tight and will the 9800 Pro cream my FX5700LE?

Just check whether the card has a 256bit interface or 128bit. Other than that, just get the cheapest.

definate increase. I went from an FX5200 - 9600PRO and its amazing the difference. Look for IMO Sapphire or ATI. Check the number of BITS, and stock speeds.

I had a 256MB 9800Pro and it was a great card. Get the PRO version

Also, if you want to on some of the 256MB 9800Pro's the newer ones are on the 9800XT board, so all you need to do is get an AM cooler and Flash your BIOS and you have yourself a 9800XT for 9800Pro price
