If I already have windows up and running on pata drives, and I want to add a sata for storage, do I need to use a floppy to install sata drivers? I don't have a floppy drive.

If they are not slip streamed in to the cd then you must use a floppy to install the driver while loading the os. If windows is installed just install the raid drivers on the mobo cd.
