Because you have a braiding machine and you can't sell braided stainless tubing to aircraft or military or hotrod industry so you fire it up and use suck nylon.

there are a couple brands Razer, Roccat, EVO-G but they are usually limited in functionality and made out of cheaper materials.

My G5 cord is frayed to heck. I just ran it over a flame a bit and the frays went away.

the Razer Armadillo is small but weighs 114g, most mice these days weigh in the 150g range obviously this was designed for Razer mice. the first version of the Razer Armadillo weighed twice as much. you wrap the cable around it then shut it. it's basically a cable weight and because the nature of wrapping the cable if you leave it in the same position for too long it will probably warp the cable. it's $19.99

the EVO-G Mouse Bungee is similar to the Mouse Bungee V2. it does have more functionality but the amount of plastic makes it look cheap it also lacks the flexibility because the flex is coming from a piece of aluminum. it's $19.95.

and the Roccat Apuri is a 2-in-1 Bungee and USB Hub. I thought the point of these devices were to eliminate tangle, clutter and drag not add to it? out of all of them it looks the cheapest and really flimsy. it's $59.95.

in the end I think the Mouse Bungee V2 is the better product.

I am a little confused by this mouse bungee thing.. can you FEEL it pulling your mouse back or what? I'd hate that and it'd irk me to hell.

Also - Hows that Xai working out? I'm tied between getting it and a g500 (Using a g5 now but the scroll wheel / side buttons are worn)
