HELP!! Have to reset CMOS every time I start.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I keep getting a POST 7A and 7F codes. and it stalls out...so I reset the CMOS and about every third time she'll boot up.

also I keep getting IRQL BSOD within the past 2 days. and another Driver_IRQL that has something to do with USBOHCI.sys

I have no clue if these are related...

the 7A code says Detect & Install co-processor ***???

Thank you in advance.

I installed an Audigy 2 ZS about 3 weeks ago. This has just been going on today.
The BSOD has been going on for about 3 days.

Did you disable on the on board sound drivers? The two could be conflicting from a recent software install

And did you disable the OB sound in the BIOS?
Nothing like a system trying to load 2 sound cards

On the USB, a memory stick or USB Drive thats powered on can throw things off at Boot

I had the same mobo and prob as you, just go into the bios, set the optimised settings and save it. Then all should be fine.
