Changing mobo would be a hassle though as I would have to turf everything out my case an restart the build. Should I do it???
With the extra vcore options, you might get another 50-100Mhz out of the CPU. You might not get anything. You'll need to rebuild and wipe the HDD for the reinstall. Depends on whether you think it's worth it or not.
1T timings are overhyped unless you want to run benchmarks. Real world apps hardly show any difference. The DFI won't give you a better overclock at the same settings as the Asus, it just gives you more options to play with, higher voltages etc.

Right then, that has decided it for me I will stick with my MOBO, I was under the impression that the board alone and not just the BIOS options would give me a higher OC. As for the RAM itself, I think I will sell my 2GB of XMS 4000PT as it hasnt really performed as well as I had hoped, and instead I will keep the 2x512MB of XMS 4400C25PT (which looks like the business, if the reviews are to be believed). Thanks

Oh and just one last thing on a slightly different note, would putting a PSU in upside down have any adverse affects? At the moment my PSU is the right way up but the wires are totally blocking the fan on the PSU. I figured that if I turned it upside down, the wires would be towards the back and there would be better airflow.

Another thing to consider, and this depends on your motherboard, is that when running 4 sticks of ram, it will default to 333mhz and not the 400mhz that 2x512 sticks will run at. Again this is depending on your motherboard.

I take that I could change the divider back to 400MHz in the bios or I am stuck with 333MHz permanently??

I'm not sure about changing back the divider. On some boards you cannot and will be stuck at the 333mhz. I am not familiar with your board though. On DFI boards this is not the case.
