i was on the same boat..it was gonna cost and extra 20 something bucks...ill wait it out..=(
I was so close to buying a 1055T, but my motherboard doesn't support it. So I ordered a 790FX-GD70 and some DDR3 ram.. (not that I had a choice since my motherboard is bricked..) and I may have a 1055T in a week or so if I sell some graphics cards.
Would people who get this not only post statistical results, but comment on the multitasking ability? I heard these 6 cores won't be "faster" than any other X4, and so I'm hoping the extra 2 cores make up for that in their ability to handle multiple tasks.
ie. Tell us some real world examples these things do better.

I did 6 different bench tests today with my Q9550 @ 3.83 Ghz and wrote all the numbers on a chart. When my X6 comes, I'm going to run the exact same benches and see what happens. I will definitely post up when it's all done.

I'm pretty sure "numbers on a chart" and "benches" is the exact opposite of what I'm asking for haha.
I would have but I don't have any DDR3, so I could either have the 790FX and ram, or the 890FX and no ram.
Ah, got you.
