Sounds like the power supply isn't up to code, if I run Prime95 and furmark at the same time I draw 600 watts from the wall

I can't find any reviews on it, but I did look up some info on it

That power supply has 4x 12volt split rails, three of which is 18amps, again it sounds like his power supply isn't up to snuff and its dieing under the extream load of running a CPU and GPU hardware torture test at the same time, and is exceeding one of the 12volt rails

This is a problem with multiple rail 12volt power supplies, if you spring for a new power supply look for a single rail model

I dunno what to suggest, as the lazer series I have been reading is good, but it is a multi-rail power supply, which are finicky to high loads and crossloads

IE - If you load one of the 18amp rails with 18.2 amps, it shuts down the power supply to prevent damage to it

Tell him to get a new AND reliable PSU anyway even if its not the issue.

Prime doesn't stress GPU. Furmark does.

prime for 24h is for crazies think. 24h doesnt mean, your PC never can get BSOD etc...Or second man can testing only 1h prime and never for all using got BSOD. stability is difficult to define this concept.

He runs Prime95 and GPU Mark togeather from OCCT I think, which loads both CPU and GPU max

1055T @4298MHz here.

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1169071

Voltage was kinda high due to PSU aging and its unability to mantain average voltages without dropping down in max load moments.

This new Sonar should be able to make it run even higher on less voltage. Gotta try tho...

That votage is normal. I can get 4.2GHz with 1.46V. But when using 2000MHz memory I need 1.5V.
