It is working flawlessly so far.

Get that 890 and you'll have the same results I bet.
You are running cold water cooling. So air coolers will not get your results.

Regardless of whether I am using water, air, liquid nitrogen, or phase change technology for cpu cooling......I was talking about using Cool & Quiet with the chip overclocked.

I don't think Cool & Quiet working or not has anything to do with the temperature.

My cpu is not cold enough to make it overclock any better at lower vcore.

It drops my multiplier from 12.5 to 4, (but 7.5 when I alt/tab out of a game). It's pretty cool. It drops my vcore from 1.45 to 1.27 when @ 4x.

It's creating less heat right now while I type with a 4x multiplier. Haven't found any issue with it yet besides having my OC slightly limited to only 4GHz due to it needing more than "auto"/1.45v for anything higher. So I raise the FSB and drop the multi and I have 3.2 NB, 1707DDR3 with 4GHz...it rocks

I am pretty sure without the cooling you would need more voltage than the 1.45v that auto supplies.

Maybe, but like I said my temps aren't all that great. And with LLC enabled the chip can get up to 1.5v if stressed. So it's not a true 1.45v I guess. But it works. My chip doesn't usually get above the low to mid 40s under stress, but I'm pretty much done running prime and stuff on this chip until I can afford a VapoChill or something. I know what it can do. But I'd like to find out how much more it can do @ minus 30-40c

C&Q still works on the multiplier even if the voltage isn't set to "auto".

Try it...320x12.5-3200NB-2240HT-1707DDR3 7-7-7-24-28-1T

Hey folks i have my cpu 100% stable @ 4250mhz with 1.56v idle @ 29c load @ 56c mind you my inside temp in my house is 21c and im using a air cooler for cpu not water like my intel build. To the point if i keep my temps low do you think it is ok to run that high of v core. btw could it be true that my cpu is that cool on air everything says that temp i tried all software and that is not core temp it is the right 1 i aint that stupid lol.

Have you added approximately 13C to those temps? If not, you cpu is cooking.
Thuban temp sensors are no good giving about a 10C-15C lower than actual readings.

This applies to core temperatures, not CPU socket temps.
