6600GT + Artifacts

Thread Starter
I have had my 6600GT(AGP) now for about 2 months now. For about 1-2 weeks I started to encounter artifacts while playing COD2. Some one please explain what might be the problem.
Thanks

If you've overclocked the GFX, drop the clocks down slightly until the artifacts stop.

If your running a sis chipset, this could be the problem. I had the same trouble when I got my card, Jan 2005. Update your drivers to the latest version, if that doesn't work try some older ones, thats what I had to do. Whatever you do don't use the ones off the cd!

MAybe it's the power cable connected with your video card that doesn't work anymore.
