No, you only need to worry about the Machine IDs for clients on the same machine.

For those of you wondering, the name change doesn't take effect until you DL another WU. I just redid my SMP client and when it redownloaded it shows up that I'm folding under the OCNChimpin UserName in HFM.NET. However, even though I changed the Client configs on my graphics cards it shows up under my personal folding name.

I believe the points still get creditted to OCNChimpin as soon as you change, and it just takes HFM a bit longer to update.

Okay, so I've been trying to change all my clients over. I've been opening up the client.cfg files in wordpad and manually changing everything (so I don't have to type out the whole passkey in the cmd window). The thing is, once I save the modifications to the .cfg, start up the client, and re-open the .cfg to make sure everything is right, all that's there is this:

You know, you can copy the passkey, then rightclick the console windows and choose paste.

If I right click while a WU is folding, it will give me the option to paste, but if I right click during the setup of a client when it is asking me for a passkey, the right click menu will not even come up.

I was doing that, whenever I saved it, started the client, and opened it again to check, it was back to nothing more than

so, I just deleted the client.cfgs of all my clients, started them up, and manually typed everything in. Short of possible typos, it worked fine, so hopefully I didn't mess up typing the passkey 3 times.

Also i do not understand this : Add the -oneunit flag first before following these instructions. how do i do this?
