Thread Starter
I changed over from the wax thermal pad that came on the Tt heatsink over the past weekend (2-11-06). According to ArticSilver's website it takes 200 hours for AS5 to cure. There hasn't been enough time for that yet. Also ArticSilver say's that there needs to be a "several thermal cycles". That computer runs 24/7 looking for pulsars, Einstein@Home. I'm on the road again and on the laptop. I have no idea when I'm going to get back there to power down that computer for a "thermal cycle".

Even though the results so far have been minimal, it was kind of a fun project. I'm looking forward to the day when I replace the factory HSF on the 6600GT with a Zalman VF700-Cu. There will be a report following that. But don't look for it anytime before mid June.
