its not a bad motherboard either, i think its an asus p7p55k or something like that.the ram is 4gb corsair 1333 cl8 i think (i can prob find better ram for cheaper, i didnt look too much)

when i built my pc in august, i only used 2gb of ram cos i thought "nah, ill upgrade it later". now it costs twice as much and i cant afford it

i rembember the days when ram was a cheap upgrade, now it is an investment.

Last October I bought 4gbs of ram for $44, seven months later I bought 2gbs of ram for the same price.

I took advantage of this and bought a Mushkin DDR2-1000 kit from newegg for $68 shipped a while ago. and I made profit off it

But ya, supply and demand are killing others wanting good ram but I guess you gotta pay a premium if you want BBSE for DDR3, or DDR2 for older rigs

in March of '09 I paid about $89 for 8gb of 1066, now I would like to go AM3 but no way I am giving up my 8gb and no way I am paying for 8gb DDR3 at these prices

Yea.. NAND flash memory is what's used in SSD's, USB flash drives, iPhones, iPads, etc. that retain information if power is lost.

While DRAM loses all information as it loses it's power.

Easy way to look at it. haha
