crossfire question

Thread Starter
I am building a new system, the wife finally decided to allow me to spend some loot on a good rig!!

I am considering the Duel ATI crossfire system, I have been looking around and have come up with the folling set up.. I know you guys know alot about ATI`S and how to configure a good set-up. I was hoping if I post the set-up you guys could help me refine it into a lean mean gaming machine.

Mobo DFI LanParty UT RDX200 CF-DR ATX AMD Motherboard

CPU AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Dual-Core 1MB Per Core 90nm (939) (Retail Box-w-Fan)

V/C ATI Radeon x1900xtx

P/s Ultra Componets and technologies X-FINITY 600 WATT PSU

Ram Corsiar DDR 400 Pc 3200 1 gig

I am not happy with the motherboard as it isnt a true x16 duel slot, if you add the second card then both slots run at x8 ... I would perfer a true duel x16 pci-e slots.

Any help would be apperciated.

Running both slots at x8 wont hurt performance any. But if you really want dual x16 the RD580 chipset will be out soon.
Very nice!
