Does this mouse have any tracking problem? positive accel, negative , etc..
What mousepad should i use if i get this mouse?
It uses Razer's 3.5g sensor. It does have tracking problems on cloth. See this pic.

I recommend getting a WMO instead.

no it uses the STMicroelectronics OS MLT 04 optical sensor. the sensor has negative acceleration and can't handle some high resolutions.

the Razer Boomslang CE, Diamondback 3G and Salmosa use the Avago 3688 optical sensor but they don't have any on-board memory so the firmware cannot be flashed which makes the Razer DeathAdder 3G unique. all the problems these mice have are corrected on the Razer DeathAdder 3G.

the Razer DeathAdder 3G would be my first choice however if you are looking for a bang for your buck mouse the Gigabyte GM-M8000 uses the Avago 6090 laser sensor the same as the Logitech G9 and Roccat Kone but instead of scaling up to 3200 DPI it can scale up to 4000 DPI for both X and Y axis. it's also got rubber siding for grip, nylon cord, extra teflon feet included in box, on-board profiles, macro editing, on the fly dpi, weight system, horizontal and vertical scrolling. the sensor has negative acceleration. you can buy it for $49.99 on newegg reason I mention this is because the Logitech G9 is more expensive and not everyone likes it's asymmetrical shape and the Roccat Kone is sold for $89.99.

If you want a light and smaller mouse, listen to clownfart. The WMO is great. Just know that you have to increase the mouse polling rate. Look into the sticky "Mouse optimization" thread for how to do that.
But if you play on high resolution and the game provides no way of increasing sensivity the WMO might not be your choice.
Just too bad the kinzu has acceleration problems, i wouldve suggest that, still many people are satisfied with the kinzu, you might be one of them.

The Kinzu also has bad mouse prediction. Too bad, could of been a great mouse.

hmm then it depends on what games he plays. RTS games should not be affected by prediction. That is my guess.
