because the unknown sensor in the Razer DeathAdder 3.5G has tracking problems. the only problem with the Avago 3688 optical sensor in the Razer DeathAdder 3G is the high lift-off distance but this can be lowered by applying a piece of scotch tape to the sensor lens.
the Avago 3688 optical sensor is the fastest most accurate optical sensor on the market. it's a proven sensor on the pro gaming scene and has had years of corrections. if you have a IPS panel with a high resolution of 2560x1600 and wanted to move the mouse 4 inches (10 cm) in a first person shooter to turn 360 degrees, you would only need 2000 DPI. the 1800 DPI the Avago 3688 optical sensor can scale up to is more than enough.Edited by lmnop - 5/2/10 at 2:15am
