dude jsut cause you have a budget of 3K doesn't mean u have to spend it all in 1 go

just save some just in case, you never know what might happen during moving in life etc

The build looks pretty good but, the case is not the best if you plan on watercooling in the future. The HAF can only fit a 240 radiator in it (which isn't really a lot of cooling potential). The HAF is fine if you want to hang the radiator off the back of the case. However, if you want to keep all the watercooling parts internally in the case then you should really go with a Cosmos S, TJ07, Obsidian 800D, or something from Mountain Mods.

First off please give us a budget. Second, please show us pictures of the new house. Third, What are you using the computer for. That should do it.

The EVGA board has more PCIe slots, pure and simple. You'll be able to run all three 9800GT's at good speeds.

Decent build, no real gripes with it, except the case. Not that I dont like the Haf series, but if you plan on going for the Haf 932 then I suggest you take a look at the Haf X. It isnt out yet, but it will be out later this May. It will allow you to run Quad SLI if you chose to down the road for whatever reason. Even if you dont, the fact that it has 9 expansion slots allow you to have a bit more room if you chose to throw in an addon card or two.

I will second the Asus board, they have some pretty good quality boards, Gigabyte definately makes some quality products as well. G-Skill is definately what I would go for ram so good choice there. Excellent choice with your PSU too, the modular setup will help with cable management.

Being that you like racing sims and all, do you have any monitors picked out yet?

Hey thanks, I really like the look of that Obsidian!

Thanks, I'll take a look at the HAF X. As far as a monitor, I plan to use our 46" sony hd tv.
