Ok, so we've all left our computers Folding overnight, just to come back in the morning to see it's restarted because of some Windows Update. Time to sort that out I think.
Log In to Windows Automatically:
1) Start> Run> control userpasswords2:

2) Uncheck the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer." box:

3) Press Apply and you will be presented with the "Automatically Log On" screen. Enter your password:

Disable Automatic Windows Update:
1) Open Windows Update.
2) Click "Change Settings" on the left:

3) Open the drop-down menu under "Important Updates". The options are:
• Download and install without asking
• Download but ask to install
• Ask to download and install
• Don't update
You can use any of the bottom 3, but I use the 3rd option myself:

Enjoy.
