[Windows 7] Automated Folding

Thread Starter
Ok, so we've all left our computers Folding overnight, just to come back in the morning to see it's restarted because of some Windows Update. Time to sort that out I think.

Log In to Windows Automatically:

1) Start> Run> control userpasswords2:

2) Uncheck the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer." box:

3) Press Apply and you will be presented with the "Automatically Log On" screen. Enter your password:

Disable Automatic Windows Update:

1) Open Windows Update.

2) Click "Change Settings" on the left:

3) Open the drop-down menu under "Important Updates". The options are:
• Download and install without asking
• Download but ask to install
• Ask to download and install
• Don't update

You can use any of the bottom 3, but I use the 3rd option myself:

Enjoy.

Hehe, that's what you think. zodac isn't even my main account on this computer.

Actually, I learnt something because of that. See, "2nd Account" is actually my main account. I renamed that while making the guide, and I found that IE, Windows Update, Windows Photo Viewer (as well as my custom Logitech mouse buttons for some reason) stopped working all of a sudden. So for future reference, don't change the name of your user while you're on it.
