Here's the link ... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817148008

Thinking of matching it up w/ this mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131569

The mobo is 24 pin, the PSU is 20+4 pin, will this work? Assuming the PSU is made for mobe's w/ 20 pins as well. Noob alert, however I want to be sure it's compatible before purchasing.

The CPU will be http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103535

How much will I be able to OC this thing given these specs here ... oh yes, and here's the memory ...

Let me know if it sounds like a good choice or should I change a few things. Now I'm debating on what CPU fan/cooler/heatsink to get, any recommendations?

It works with both 20 and 24-pin mobos. I have one myself and it works quite well.

i have that cpu and on my old 350W crappy PSU i still managed to overclock, so 520W is plenty. I dont know the brand but aftermarket PSU's are usually alot better.

Actually, if you have the money i would suggest going for a 3700+ San Diego, or a Opteron, because they overclock quite better, and have larger L2.

I would also strongly reccomend a CPU cooler. The one on ur picture - a zalman CNPS9500 is a very good cooler, with 6 heatpipes and a super-helper for the airflow of a case, is very good for overclocking, especially keeping those load temps low. Other pplz say that the TTBT is better but i like this one

As for the ram... i guess its ok for overclocking but not the best. If you want good i would go with Crucual Ballistix, OCZ platinum, G.skill, and those nice brands
