The DFI has issues with crossfire due to some southbridge issues with the rest of the mobo or sth like that.. alteast thats what i heard.... i would suggest the sapphire or asus one @ newegg.

remember to buy a Crossfire master card and a then a standard card, and not two of the same as some people think it does.

hey just to notify, i read some reviews and the sapphire board do not have any way of overclocking the CPU... so go for the ASUS one if you want to overclock

As it stands at the moment the ASUS A8R-MVP is the best performing CROISSFIRE motherboard. Check out a good review..here.....(I wish it was in a micro ATX form factor)

The DFI and any other using the ATI southbridge chipset SB450 has some SATA issues etc.

The X1300 and X1600 do not require a crossfire master card or a external link as they can be activated via the CATALYST CONTROL CENTRE.

However for all other cards you are required to have a crossfire edition card and the second card must at least be crossfire ready.
