Blackberry 8520 Battery very hot during charge

Hi

I've recently upgraded to a Blackberry 8520 and I've noticed that the battery gets very hot while charging. The battery itself is almost too hot to touch at the end of the charge. Should this be something to be concerned about? Otherwise the phone is working properly.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Does it also run that hot during everyday use, or just when you're charging it?

It's only hot while charging. Right now its not charging and its cool to touch.

I wouldn't worry about it then. I would unplug it asap when it's done charging, though. Such as not letting it sit on the charger for hours and hours overnight even when it's done charging.

lol theres no problem, i got the same phone, and it gets hot, when you do a heavy task, if you put the phone to your ear, you hear a disc spinning. the battery gets hot, because particles are moving within it, and the spinning dics magnetises them. causing friction.
