It seems extremely slow to me -.0 or am i misunderstanding, it was a custom build and i decided on 1 800mhz module and 1 1066mhz, yet this is telling me there running at 400?

Information in spoiler...

Thanks very much for any help you may be able to offer.

the 800 and 1066 is 2x the real frequency, so when it says they're running at 400, it's really 800MHz

edit: but from your info, you have an 800 and a 667 stick? no 1066 there...

not that stick...it all depends on what type of setup you have...if you can do dual channel, get 2 sticks with the same capacity and the same speed

if you're just going for total RAM, no point getting faster RAM than your slowest anyway, it'll all run at the slowest speed
