So true...I was running close to what I thought would be a stable 4.0 clock...and a lot of 1800 clocks on my ram but after the update it seems the features have been hampered more and are much more picky.

Still deciding what I should do with the board...I like it and am comfortable with working with it more but for what it was supposed to be and the fact that I brought $400 memory and can't even take advantage (or even make a choice) of whether I want to go up to 2000mhz I'm back to searching the nooks and crannies of the web.

Any success stories out there?

I have had my ram up to 2000MHz by upping the core clock, but with 4 sticks I am stuck with 1600MHz.

update: After re-starting the overclock process I was able to get to a 1700+ memory clocks and have at least been able to see the 2000+ speeds by changing my fsb to a higher number (256 or something) and lowering the multiplier (12/12.5). If anyone has any stable settings with their motherboard and a 1090T processor please feel free to post them...including the voltages that you may have changed...so I can get an idea if I'm hitting the right ball park settings.

1090T in 890fxa-gd70 corsair ram
fsb: 265 (or 266 can't remember)
cpu multi: 16
nb: 265
ram ratio 1:2.66
ram speed 14xx
htt multi x8

cpu vtt: 1.46
ram v: 1.65
nb v: 1.2

ram timings both 8-8-8-24 2T
lowering the htt multi to x8 or x9 helped with stability a lot. with this config i'm folding 24/7 at 4.25 ghz (which is why i dont want to restart to get the exact numbers) if you need more help i can look into my exact bios settings and post some cpuz info, just let me know. oh btw, im running a water cooled loop. i was at 4.1 with an h70 before going with water.

edit: im using the newest bios, it helped with ram stabilty, IMO

What are you guys ram and CPU-nb voltages? At stock CPU speed my 1600 corsair dominator 2s ran at 1666 at 1.8 ram v (max recommended in my ram specs) and 1.3 nb-CPU v. It helped to set the ram timings in advanced ram settings to both and stock ram timings (make sure to put in both sets) and 2t. Hope this helps
