The Flare are outstanding and usually very little problems are encountered. Yeah I know it doesnt help. You may want to try the following:

Do you have other ram that you can use on the board? If so, please use to post showing the configurations. Could possible have a bad stick

Also try with one stick to see if it posts.

What is your temp at? Are you overclocking at all? If overclocking reset to stock and see if it posts.

Very unusually as Flares are pretty good.

Tell that story to m2n32 and a7da-s users. They seem to be working fine with beta bios.

@Kmon
I'm asking some friends to bring their ripjaws CL7, but they are busy at the moment. I'm going to ask again. They owe me anyway.

In order to make it 1800 I have to increase cpu to 225, I also lowered multipliers to see what happens, but nothing.

With the flare, it posted normally when using one stick (I tested both) Don't know if it boot, because I was still looking the options in setup.

Other thought, I couldn't set latencies even at 1600, only at 1333 worked fine at CL7.

Try this setting the FSB at 240 with at 1333 to get you to 1600 with the 7 timings. May want to try 8 first and then try to go to 7. Try sometime like 787 24 or 26 - Yeah I know the timing are off but it may enhance stablity not the fastest but that can be tweaked later

the divider should be 1:1:333 at 240 will give you 800
Raise your north bridge to 2400. It helps too

What board do you have 890 or 870?

Also you may have a bad stick - still think it timing

Didnt realize you had a 890 with a 1075. The last 1075 I used in a built I had to play with the timing a lot to get Patriot G34 to work at advertised timing of 1600 77720. I know they worked at 7-7-7-20 on another same 890FX board with a 1090 and a 555. For the 1075 i had to play with the FSB in lieu of just setting it with the 1:4 -- Go figure.

It may be a weak memory contoller on the 1075 ( REPEAT this is speculation as I only built one system with a 1075 and a sample of 2 is not a trend nor statistically valid)

But the IMC should be the same, I've seen 1055 running fine at even 2000. I didn't bought the 1055, since the 1075 was not too pricey. The 1090 was out of my mind since it's very expensive for its performance.

Yes, it should be the same as the IMC are the same type but the chips may be binned based upon tests so the weaker IMC may be sold as 1075 with a lock mutliple. Possibly less stressful on the IMC then high multiples

Like I say it could alos just be a bad stick

Did you set the FSB/DRAM to 1:333 in BIOS?
And set the ram timing manually?
Also did you set the Ram volt to the correct voltage?

Yes, were they older 1055 or newer 1055.

I have a feeling that the older 1055 are better than the newer 1055.

No stats but just a feeling from building and looking at overclocks and voltage usage.

Yeah I know they are the same chips and stepping

Interesting point as I think the 1075 in the states are priced too high and the 1090 is a better value. Last month you could purchase 1090 for less than 229 (219 with discounts)and the 1075 were selling for 199 go figure. For 20 buck you get 200 higher and an unlock multiplier.

I think your memory performance can be improved by looking at your everest results

see attached and look at the 1090 timings. You have better memory so you should be getting better performance
