Just to check...can I run a single card at 16x in any of the slots or do I have to use slots 1 or 5...I have a pci wifi card and either i get rid of that and get in a usb dongle or any of the slots work at 16x....so guys a quick check would be great...and anyone managed to do some HTT clocking and would share their results would be great as well.

• 5 PCI Express 2.0 slots
- PCI_E1 supports up to PCIE x16 speed (when PCI_E3 is empty)
- PCI_E5 supports up to PCIE x16 speed (when PCI_E6 is empty)
- If you want to install two graphics cards, please use PCI_E1 & PCI_E5 slots
- PCI_E3 & PCI_E6 support up to PCIE x8 speed
- If you want to install four expansion cards into PCI_E1, E3, E5 & E6 slots, these four PCIE x 16 lanes will auto arrange from x16/ x0/ x16/ x0 to x8/ x8/ x8/ x8
- PCI_E4 support up to PCIE x4 speed
• 1 PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot
• 1 PCI slot, support 3.3V/ 5V PCI bus Interface.
Check this out,
as long as you put the video card at PCI_E1 and leave PCI_E3 empty, it will rund 16x. I recommend you to put the wifi card to PCI_E4 since it is auto assigned to PCI-E 4x.

Its an old card, so pcie 4 wont work...it will have to go into the black slot. Now from a lot of experience with the gd70, I can say that running the GPU in the top slot tends to increase your cpu temps by 2 degrees or so, and thats why I wanted to run it in any other slot other than the pcie 1....so can I run at 16x in pcie 2/3/4 etc, with also using my wifi card. The other issue with running it in slot no. 5 is that it covers the onboard diag readouts..
