I promise you that you WILL get sucked into this game. I bought it at release and played very little. A couple of months later, I pull it back out and now am playing as much as a man can with 3 young kids and a wife and job, but oh well. 5 hours a week is fine with me. It is a resource hog. I echo the sentiments about RAM and CPU. The other big thing with BF2 is that RAM and CPU will determine how fast you get in match, which might not sound like much until you never get the choppers and tanks.
