only you will be able to find that out, do a few benchies and see how things go on the different settings. You are better off being stable than having high clocks and on the edge of crashing, you dont want to be in the middle of something and in need of a restart because it is having hassles. Find ya max and back it off a tad then you will be all good. I sometimes wonder how many rigs on this forum are on the edge all day and are only just getting by.

running the ram at a 1:1 ratio with the cpu is best, but ya youll have to test that and see the difference, but maybe now u can OC to say 2.8ghz and make up for the lower ram speed....

Your not really lets say you set it at 333 and you put your fsb to 250 thats +50 you are adding back to the 333.

In most test at 250 fsb and 333 mhz your ram will be at 196.x

196.x times dual channel = 392 8 short of 400mhz...

im not 100% thats the chipset.

this is the A8n-E board. speedfan shows something that is close to the cpu in temp, mobo is 34 (compared to asus probe), cpu is now 47 after lowering vcore to 1.375 in bios.
