How pathetic is your vid card? - Page 11

My first computer was a Commodore VIC-20 with 5KB RAM memory but 1.5KB was used for the system/video so I was left with 3.5KB for coding and variable input. The VIC-20's video chip (VIC - Video Interface Chip) was tiny.

So, approximately .5kb of video ram. I had no storage and when the computer was turned off well all my programming was lost. The year later I was able to purchase a printer and later a tape drive. There was no monitor or mouse as it connected to the tv.

LOL

Can't beat 13 3 @ 7 l 3 13 0 y but I've never had a good graphics card. First it was a Riva TNT2 32, then a All in Wonder 8500DV (64 MB), and currently a GeForce 6600 w/ DDR1. Last one could smoke the others though...

Have to say, some of your cards are older than I am, I think.

w00t!

Hmph... I have... a Geforce... 2, I think. 32 MB video card. CS 1.6 lagless! W00t!!

Before that... I had a 8MB video card from HP to replace my onboard card as I was just starting to get into computers about a year ago.

Now I have a FX5200, 128MB, 64-bit card... but guess what I'm getting?

6800LE, w00t!
