I been looking at coolercases.co.uk i can get everything but the cpu block (some of this stuff is out of stock)

but this is what i have come up with...

3x Xinruilian 120mm 40A Fan (91CFM and around 40 - 50Dba IS THAT LOUD??????)
12x Jubilee (18mm) Clamps
16 ft Tygon 1/2" ID Hose
Danger Den D5-12Volt Pump
ThermoChill HE120.3
ThermoChill 1/2 Chrome Barb
Danger Den 5.25 Bay Res
Water Wetter 50ml
UV Yellow Water Dye (25ml)
1/2" Maze4 GPU Low Profile Acetal Top

Right is that everything but CPU block?

Fans, clamps, pump, radiator, radiator barbs, res, water wetter, dye, GPU Block.

Do i need anymore barbs?...

Ill get the STORM CPU Block from over-clock.

Total price: around £312 with delivery Wow a lot of cash... i think i gone overboard on the amount on tubing do i need 16foot?

tele, if you were talking about silentx fans, then please don't buy them - the fans are just rebadged and heavily overpriced fans, as well as advertised with false airflow/noise specifications

the silent PC community basically shuns the company because 1. their product is BS, and 2. because the owner of the company made multiple usernames on forums to promote his product and create BS hype about them

for silent fans with TRUE specs, look at the yate loon low speed fans - these are by far the most popular fans in the silent PC community

and for noise increase for multiple fans, one generally goes by the rule of original DBA rating + 3dba for each additional fan with the same specs

Well i used the custom builder and selected:

Maze4 Chrome GPU Top Block (Will this fit a 6800GS?
DangerDen Dual Bay Res
Thermochill HE120.3 Radiator
Xinruilian Fan 40Amp 120mm (CFM 91 and Dba is 40 - 45)
Laing 12Volt - D5 Pump (Whats it 12volt? how does it connect?)
Tygon R3603 1/2" ID Tubes (16 feet)
Water Wetter 25ml
UV Yellow Dye

You will notice 3 things are missing..

1. CPU Block: I want the STORM block
2. Hose clamps... Whats better plastic or metal?
3. Chipset block... Do I need one? If so what will fit a 955x chipset?
Well my apologies for posting a "rubbish site" but I noted in your fist post you were seeking Danger Den components mostly for your build available in the UK.

As for the CPU cooling blocks are you looking in the right place or are you stating that the DD TDX and the D-TEK little river white water CPU waterblocks are no good ?.....

And for the fans if qaulity is suspect. Purchase from another source.

cheers

Please forgive me for splitting hairs, for your advice is basically correct and useful.

But as I understand it, the noise level increases 3dB for every doubling of noise. So you are correct for the second fan--it would increase noise by 3dB. But to double noise again, you'd have to double the number of fans--from 2 to 4 = +3dB, 4 to 8 = +3dB, etc.

I belabor this only to make the point that multiple quiet fans are quieter than one noisy fan, and 4 fans would be only 6dB louder than 1 of the same type. So for silence, go for multiple big, quiet fans.

Thanks for putting up with me.

Uhm, not quite, but close enough for government work.

Not on specific high-flow WC parts, but how about this one:

i noticed for watercooling you need like 90cfm that are 50dba thats loud isnt it?
Yeah, that's probably pretty loud, depending upon how it was measured. Again, for quiet go for multiple big, slow-turning fans.

Now, back to my pillow-fort of isolation...
