Plain and simple, right now, the Asus 975x board...

the asus is better is better i got the premium today(waiting to install it)
but what i like about the gigabyte is the dual bios if you got a firmware problem you load the other one.
and 7 fan ports and debugging led.
but nforce chipsets arent the best ocers
its your choice if your a overclocker go with the asus premium or E-premium.
but if your a gamer go with the gigabyte becasue of the sli

I'd go with the 975x chipset, however the only advantage I can see .. I'm gunna be so wrong here, is that it can take ddr2-800 ram, as opposed to 667. I think it may also have better raid capabilities, but that may not interest everyone as raid-0 seems to be fine for most performance seekers.

I have the P5ND2-Deluxe and it's a fantastic board, seems to have lots of options, only complaint is the hot south bridge, but the tai chi will soon fix that (been saying that for a long time now, havent I..I swear i'll get around to it)

So the only board I can personally recommend is the one that I currently own, it's super fast, and when I went into bios and asked it to run @ FSB 1066, it had no issues booting without modifying any voltages. (3.0 --> 4.01)

I could guarentee now I've got that, brand new technology is going to come out and render my whole system useless, it's so typical.
