System doesn't recognize DVD-RW/CD-ROM - Page 2

If you doing a fresh install of windows, In the Bios boot priority disable hard drive, only have removable and cdrom enabled

No beacuse there is already a copy of windows on it, rember to reformat the drive also.

When your done installing window remeber to enable Hard drive in the Bios.

i disabled the harddrive but now it says "system disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter"

and in bios i cant disable the hard-drive i can only put addin cards as a higher priority.

this is really getting on mu nerves.

If you have 2 cd or dvd rom drives switch the cd to the other drive.
