Quick question for ya erauman, i noticed in your specs you have a clawhammer aswell, how fast have you managed to get that one running? Any new heatsinks? And if you remember, how fast did you get it going on stock cooling? I know every chip is differnt, but it would be nice to know when im gettin close to the limit I have an lcd temp readout on the front of my case, and my temp hasn't jumped with the overclock of 2.5Ghz, so i think i have some head room as far as heat goes

The htt at 800 is its limit, you shouldn't have to up thevcore in tell you need it to keep stable, droping the multi will alow you to find your memory's top, also you might have to lossen your memory timmings to get more out of it, with 10x multis should allow you to get the most out of you ram, my turion dosn't like its stock multi of 11 so I drop it down to 10 then max out my ram at 310fsb. just so you know theres lots of differant combos that can work.

You should get some better cooling it will make a big differance in your over clock, just keep your load temps below 55c. myself I don't go past 50c.

Ok, im good and confused again lol. Heres what i got going:
2543.9Mhz core speed
212mhz FSB
12X multiplier
Ram speed 212mhz

Ram ratio 2/2 < at stock speeds, this puts me at 400, and in bios, it shows this at 424mhz, but cpuz shows much lower. any thoughts?

If cupz tells you 212 mhz, than that means you are actually running at 424mhz. So, it's right.

It is a little intimidating, but frankly, it was a piece of cake.

Your 3700, is it a 939 or 754 socket? These guys are approaching this as if it is a 754 (with max HTT of 1600), but I know gigabyte made a couple of nf3 boards that support 2000 (939 boards)

Also, is your processor a san diego or a venice?

***EDIT

HAHA! I should have read the title...sheesh

212x12 for your rig is not bad, and your HTT should not be an issue...yet.
