I had a 6600 GT which I regret selling it but it was too late.........
Got a 6800 GS, by eVGA because of the Lifetime Warranty and checked a couple of reveiws at newegg and saw what I exactly wanted to see, except this is my first purchase ever on an nVidia card not being a PNY.
I saw reports on the card running cool......check!
I saw it overclock a little more than I expected it....check!
It's been in my system for no more than 1 hour and I like that it's running at 490/1100 stock overclock and only 37c idle. I will try the auto overclocking later and the highest possible I can go but right now I'm gonna let that paste settle a bit.
In the meantime........eVGA or XFX which ever of those may suit your needs, right now I'm liking this eVGA 6800 GS.
Just tried the "optimal freq" and it went all the way upto 533/1180, temps only went from 37c to 39c......still playing with it.
