choosing sound card - Page 3

I just got the Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme music yesterday. But, when i disabled my onboard sound card for it to work with WMP, I realized my front audio and front mic no longer worked (should I known it wouldn't). SO I took it bac and got the Platinum with front audio ports.

In the end, they are both the same card, just the platinum comes wit more stuff. But, DAMN it made a HUGE difference over my onboard 8 channel audio.

BF2 on this baby sounds like never before, If you have the money, get the XtremeMusic, if you want the front audio, get the Platinum, unless you don't mind reaching behind your computer to reach the mic in jack.
