You said you had a tiny little scroll, you don't. You haven't touched a scroll compressor yet. That's called a reciprocating.

Be careful with what your doing. Using a outside weather condenser like with a window AC means large swings in the ambient. If you don't charge it for that hottest conditions it will see you can easily burn out the compressor when the ambient is hot during summer and the high pressure goes way up.

so only thing i saved from the 25$ A/C was the condenser and i chopt it down to size of a 360 rad made my own U bends brazed a bunch of them in and ran out of braze rods this is what i have so far not the most sexy condy but no one will see it so i don't care what she looks like

more braze rods more bending more fire more 4 letter words and this is what i got she is done

its a condenser ghetto home made style home made U bends home made tight radii bender so what i got is a 3 120 mm fan condenser that i can mount standing up or laying flat at the top of the case like a 360 rad

no pressure test yet as i left argon open on a slow flow when i was shielding something like a month ago and forgot then a few weeks went by and i needed argon and its all gone now i need to take the tank and get it filled but by the time i get off work evrything is closed and on the weekends i am too hammerd to drive

but even tho i went heavy with the braze i am sure it will have atleast 1 tiny leak if not 5

Instead of killing all that hot air, why don't you send some to the UK?

We could really use it.

Sub'd. I love a good chiller project and this looks to be killer. Nice job on the condenser. Are you going with a heat exchanger for the evap?
