Fastest 2x 1GB sticks at stock?

Thread Starter
I'm considering buying OCZ 2 x 1 GB Platinum Edition in place of my corsair. I'd like to find the fastest stock timings. The OCZ I'm looking at is 2-3-2-5 (my corsair, however is 2-2-2-5 at stock). Does anyone know of any dual channel ddr400 2 x 1 gb kits that have better than 2-3-2-5?

Thanks

Nope.

That's as low as I've seen it.

Muskin might have some 2-2-2-6 but it wouldn't be worth the money when you could have 2-3-2-5 for less then $200 with the gskill ZX stuff.

I best I've gotten my OCZ Platinum was 237@ 2.5-3-3-5 1T, sometime it gets finicky but for the most part it's pretty stable, had to drop it recently since my board has been getting hotter (not sure why) . I think it's now at DDR444 with the timings above, but I can probably get the CAS back down to 2

I didn't check the date of your post, but do not purchase any memory right now. The latest Infineon CE-6 memory chips seem to be unstable in 3D applications past 255 MHz. I suggest either waiting for a new batch or going Crucial. (They use Micron chips). I have been emailing Mushkin, OCZ, and Infineon asking when we can expect the next batch of IC's. So far no response. I'll let you guys know if I get anything. Later.

I use the OCZ platinum enhanced Bandwith 2gb kit and i'm runnin at 3-2-3-7 1T at 250mhz and I'm pretty shure it still lot of headroom. At 400Mhz it was running 2-3-2-5 that's not to bad.

So this did end up being true on a larger scale?

Interesting.
