Alright, so I had to get some more MX2 compound for the CPU (its in such a big needle thing that I thought there would be more lol... should have looked at the number of grams)
So it is mostly waterproofed..
Hard As Nails is not the best stuff, it ends up peeling off fairly easily when you apply the kneaded eraser.. but it should be ok for now.
So the test is with my Q6600, at stock voltage and just using the motherboard temp sensor for CPU from the bios:
Radiator + Fans:
Bios Temp readings after ~10 minutes of TECs being on (28v). I'm not sure how hard the cpu needs to work in the bios, I assume very little..:
This was all with 3 high static pressure fans on a push setup with the thermochill PA140.3 radiator. The water was still warm, so adding a second rad should help out the temps a bit as well. After all the colder I can make the hot side of the TECs the lower the cold side will be.
According to a crappy thermometer I have (not digital) the ambient temp is around 25C in the room.
Now I need to setup windows and check it out.Edited by cmolson - 5/12/10 at 12:46pm
