Well 21.5 is pretty low, I can only go a bit lower.
I added high speed fans to the smaller radiator to help out a bit, and it seems to make a difference.
My Q6600 has always been bad at overclocking. The max stable I have ever gotten with watercooling was 3.6ghz, and the temps were very high (65+C I think).
I forget what voltage I had the TECs at.. oops! I think it was 24V.
Vcore is higher than before, 1.69V or so lol.
PC IDLE Wattage: 270W
PC Load Wattage: 425W
CPU Speed is 3.6ghz
I definitly need another radiator. I am contemplating getting Feser X-360 with high speed fans to mount on the back of my case. Then I may even be able to up the TEC voltage past 28V using another supply in series.. but I am getting ahead of myself. I need to isolate the hot side temperature issue first, get it as low as possible.
Ordered another RAD, 5 more fans, 1/2"ID Y adapter to replace the 3/8" one I have and some more metal barbs and fittings so I can route the tubes otuside my case easily. Hopefully it will get here tomorrow so I can play!Edited by cmolson - 5/13/10 at 1:14pm
