CPU/Motherboard monitors for Linux?

I just installed Ubuntu and I want to be able to monitor my BIOS/fan settings and temperatures (obviously). Can anyone tell me all the different kinds of these programs that you know run for Linux? I'd love in CPU-Z could run on it Do tell if you know.

I think there are two gnome panel applets called sensors-applet and hardware-monitor which allow you to monitor various aspects of your system.

Browse Through www.sourceforge.net they have tons of software as well.
