Used to request new/beta WUs from Stanford. It can also be turned on permenently in the initial configuration for the SMP client.
Used on the Linux SMP client (or a Linux VMware in Windows) to request large WUs, which give much higher points.
Requires a CPU with 8cores/threads; an i7.
Used to enter the configuration screen for the SMP client and GPU console client. The client will close once configuration has been completed.
Forces the client to run in the install location; useful when running multiples of the same client.
For example, the GPU client runs by default in C> Users> [Your User]> AppData> Roaming> Folding@home-gpu. With the -local flag, it would run in C> Program Files (x86)> Folding@home> Folding@home-gpu.
After a WU is complete and the results have been uploaded, the client will close.
Similar to -onunit, but the client will ask if you would like to download a new WU.
Forces the client to send all queued WU results, if any.
The client will close after sending all WUs, and not download a new WU.
Allows the SMP client to request SMP WUs, which will use all available cores. You can also specify the number of cores by using -smp x, where x is the number of cores.
Without this flag, the SMP client acts as a Unicore client, only using a single CPU core to fold.
9 is the level of information shown in the FahLog (1-9). More info can help if there are any issue with the client. Set to 3 by default.
When folding on multiple GPUs, this flag negates the need to use a dummy plug or second monitor. The flag is for all non-Fermi GPUs, regardless of core.
Doesn't always work.
The Fermi version of the above flag.
Similar to -forcegpu nvidia_g80, but for ATi GPUs. You must add this flag to 5 series AMD GPUs when using GPU2, however, or else you will get a "GPU unsupported error".
Using the GPU3 client means you don't need this flag.

Similar to -configonly, but begins a WU after configuration has been complete.
Deletes the xth from work queue.
You should only do this if there is an error with your current WU, and in most cases you would probably be better of posting a thread about it.
Forces the WU core to use SSE instructions, even if the client has decided that the machine might not be running them well.
It may help older system, but don't use it for newer (dual core and up) systems.
Displays the flags available to the client.
Displays the end-user license agreement.
Shows information on all queued WUs.
Runs the program in service mode. If the client is not already being run as a service (chosen in configuration), when the user tries to log out, a "Waiting for program to close" window will open.
