AMD CPU vs. DDR2 memory!?!?

Thread Starter
Hey, I don't intend for this to turn into a fanboy debate or whatever but I really need to know which is better (an AMD CPU w/ DDR memory or an Intel CPU w/ DDR2 mem) for overall gaming performance. I know that AMD cpu's are generally better for gaming but I figure the increased mem speed would make up for this . Anyway, as you can see in my specs, I have the former and so I am thinking about selling my memory and cpu for the latter. Your wisdom will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone.

i'd say keep the one you have right ow because DDR2 has more loose timings and its a hassle to replace everything like mobo and stuff just for ddr2 which isn't acutally that special...ddr600 is fine

Agreed....real speed benefits haven't been seen with DDR2. If you want to see DDR2 show real promice...wait ill AMD makes processors with support for it....

YAHOOOOOO OCZ DDR2 1Ghz
