haha, well, interesting story behind that one. I had the Asus 8Ln in my first build but I was told by others on the board to just get the DFI and learn on my way. I don't really think I am that lost. Everything is done in the case except for that last 4 pin on the motherboard. I am stopping buy some comp shops on my way home and should be able to pick up a converter, so I think i'll be fine.

EDIT: Oh yeh, and Xeijin, I might as well start off somewhere. i am not going to go buy a crappy 800$ comp to do my first build on then go and buy the 1600$ later on. I think my understanding of how to put a computer together was rather rusty, however, I have managed to get this far so....

the 550W is a native 24 pin psu...theres a 20 pin power connector, look next to that on the motherboard, theres a 4 pin, look on your psu, its a clear 4 pin ooo, wow, easy to find.

Now that I got it on and everything plugged in, I know that my mobo is fried, DOA, WOOO. Sending it on on the morrow and ordering a new one now
