That's what we do in our environment.

8 hosts, all running ESXi 4.1
3 generations of Intel CPU's

EVC mode set to the LCD.

I wouldn't consider a VPS cheating. They're renting it, it's in their name. Now, people posting servers from work or school. That's cheating. Obviously they're going to be nicer than what folks have at home.

HP ProLiant DL380 G5 Server 2×Xeon Quad-Core 3.0GHz + 16GB RAM + 8×73GB 10K SAS for home. I should be getting it during this week. Will post pictures once I get it.

I really don't have much space inside the house, and I doubt the wife will let me have this box screaming with the fans either. wheee.gif

So, during the wait for the box to arrive, it is wiring time. Will have it running in the garage and I need to get a UPS for it as well.

Main purpose for the box is to install ESXi, then some Windows 2008 servers on it to study for the MCITP
