It all depends on what youre doing. Considering I do a lot of media stuff on mine, so its nice to have. That, and I have my AD stuff on there, so theres not a whole lot of lag. I'm happy with it. Configuration was a bit odd, since its only a 30GB, but once I got everything configured, it runs nice and smooth.

Doesn't everyone have a half rack in their basement? Im still in the process of setting up all the servers with their iLo and respectable IP address's.

This is my own Home server. I own this and it's all about my own making for home use.

(Description)

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Case: istarUSA D400-6SE-SL
CPU: AMD X3 720 / 3 cores / 3.6 ghz
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-790XTA-UD4
Cooling: Stock Air Cooler from Box
Memory: 8 Gigs
PSU: Thermaltake 500watt
OS HDD: Junky Sata 120 gig Notebook Drive
Storage HDD: 1TB x 6 drives / Sata II inferface
Server Manufacturer: MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

What you use it for? I use it for Backing Up my computers, Media Streaming, and transcoding ( + Folding@home on the GPU- 9800GT )

All my CPU core's are running at 40c max.
The Raid cage keeps all the hard drives really really cool.

Is that a 3x5.25" to 5x3.5" drive adapter you have on there? If so, could you tell me what model it is please?

Wait... You have that in your basement... For home use. What could you possibly need to do that requires half rack.

PS: Nice Rack (Well, Half rack)

Would have been more impressed if you hadn't spaced the servers out and had them all together at the bottom of the rack (REALLY annoys me when I see this at work), but with blanking panels in place (and for a home system) that's not too much of an issue...
